Scooping out the boredom of Summer Vacations and saving the children from the scorching sun yet not missing the fun and innovation, the Makershala Summer Camp 2019 was a tremendous opportunity for students across the country in cities like Gurgaon, Faridabad, Mohali, Delhi, Noida, Kurukshetra, etc. Organized from 16th of May to 21st of June, the month-long camp brought out the creativity of students who were trained by our trainers’ consistent efforts and their commitment to STEM Education. A variety of entertaining yet informing activities like making your own Hungry Robot, Smart Pot, Air purifier, Tilt Lamps, etc. were conducted. More than 400 students were delighted to experience Hands-on Training for 3D printing, electronics, robotics and art. The idea behind organizing such camps in summer vacation is our motive to spread practical knowledge and help students utilize their vacations in a more constructive manner.

The schools where the camps were setup significantly contributed to its grand success. Schools across Delhi NCR including Manav Rachna International Schools at Sector-14 Faridabad, Sector-46 Gurgaon, Charmwood, Sector-21 C Faridabad and Noida gained the most traction with students filling in even before the starting of the camp. Similarly schools like Imperial Heritage, Gurgaon and Vega School, Gurgaon also had enthusiastic students grope in for learning innovation. Also, the contributory schools in Mohali  were Shivalik Public School and Manav Rachna International School.

Enlightening activities like Hungry Robot, Motion Detection Camera, Virtual Reality Box were conducted to train and teach students electronics and electricity. Then, there were activities like PVC Lamps, Tilt Lamps, Glowing Display, Roller Coaster, etc. that taught them how art and craft can be done innovatively and can benefit them in their daily lives. Whereas, LED Key Chain and other activities were organized in order to help them understand the very innovative 3D printing and its software. Also, to connect them to our beloved mother earth activities like Water Level Indicator, Air Purifier, Smart Pot were conducted, which led these young minds to understand the importance of preserving nature and its resources.

The extravaganza held at so many places ended with great feedbacks and good wishes coming from students, parents, teachers and heads of the schools. Hence, we at Technoplanet, left no stone unturned in empowering and arming students with the ever strong weapons of trending and upcoming technology. Yet, we take no rest and consistently work harder for a brighter future generation and a sustainable future designed by their able minds.
